Mommy!

Nathan has finally said "Mommy"! He used to say "mama" as an infant, but stopped saying it and has constantly said "Daddy" to Dan. He even started calling me Daddy! So, we kept on pointing to me saying "mommy" and finally got it after weeks.

His vocabulary is growing so fast these days. We really have to be careful what we say or watch on TV because he's a great imitator. The only phrase or multiple words he's saying is "bath time", "all done" "oh no" and "apple juice", but he's constantly talking like he's having a conversation with us. He's so funny when he gets on the phone with me at work...while I'm talking to him, Dan tells me he has this huge smile on his face and is trying to talk to me.

He's also been eating so much these days and more varieties of food.....he's definitely going through a growth spurt. He's been so good at restaurants and sitting in his high chair. We may have to start ordering one of those kid's meals soon because he's eating so much of my own food!

It's amazing how far he's come along since he was born....I can't believe how tiny he used to be and how his only way of communicating was crying. Now he's growing so fast into a little boy and is communicating more and more. The crying and temper tantrums are still there of course, but it's just amazing watching him develop and grow. Sniff sniff!

"bath time"
"all done"
"oh no!"
"apple juice"

Add "please" and "thank you" and he's set.

Need we really to learn all those other words?

Haha... so cute!

Yeah on saying "Mommy"! We're not sure if Caleb is saying "mama" and "umma" or if its just babble. Can't wait until the day we can understand what Caleb is saying. I think Caleb is in the terrible two's since he was 9 or 10 months old.
