Fightin' Phils!

14 years since we've been in the playoffs! I was jumping up and down after today's win! Can you believe they were behind 7 games 2 weeks ago behind the Mets?!! I never thought they would actually catch up and take the lead, but they really fought hard as they were close the past 2 years. Cole Hamels pitched brilliantly Friday. Hopefully Jimmy Rollins gets the MVP this year as he deserves it. Thank goodness we don't have the "Wild Thing" this year.

Wonderland

Some friends at church requested that I put up some pics of our trip to Dutch Wonderland to help them determine whether their children are old enough to enjoy the park. The park is geared towards toddlers....Nathan had a great time and was very brave to ride some of the rides all by himself! Summer Day Trips

This summer we went on a lot of mini day trips. Dan finally uploaded them from his camera, so I’ll be posting them in the next few days. I wanted to spend a lot of time with Nathan and Dan this summer as some of you know we are trying for a 2nd child. We’ve only been trying for the past 2 1/2 months and every month I’ve been disappointed and depressed. I was really hoping for an April or May birth as I really don’t want to be big during the hot summer months. The last time it only took us a month to get pregnant and in my arrogance, I thought I would easily get pregnant again (I guess being 33 plays a factor now). We had prayed that if it was God’s will that He would allow it to happen and that if it didn’t happen it’s not in His timing. I don’t know why I’ve been upset about this as it normally takes time for this to happen, but I guess I was prideful from the last time. And it doesn't help that people at church keep asking if we're pregnant every week! So, I’ve been praying to relinquish that control over to God, to not obsess about it so much and to be accepting of God’s timing and purpose. In the mean time, I need to enjoy these moments alone with Nathan as time passes by so quickly.

On a lighter note, here's some pics from a boating outing @ Peace Valley Park this summer. It's funny how I grew up in this area, but I never once went on a boat ride here. We all had a great time, although I was a bit nervous as we watched another family topple over in the water. Thankfully they all had life jackets. You can see me holding on to Nathan real tight below!

New Office Location & Animal Worshipper

So my company was previously located in 6 buildings in Horsham. We're now in one huge building in Fort Washington and took over the Fort Washington Expo Center. This place is huge! They seriously need to have maps located throughout the place to say "You are here", like they do in the mall. I was looking forward to seeing everybody again who I used to work with and I'm lucky to be sitting near them. It's nice to see familiar faces in the sea of cubicles and unfamiliar 2,500 faces. My commute is pretty much the same as before: 8.4 miles and a 20-25 minute commute, so I can't complain. And I still get to work from home on Fridays, so I'm pretty happy.

Here's some pics of Nathan and our Pastor's daughter. They're 10 months apart and they are absolutely in love with each other. They always ask for each other and scream for joy when they see each other. It's so cute and amazing to see Nathan craving for relationships and yearning to see his friends this early in his life.
