New Job!
So, they want me to start on October 9th. I'm a bit shocked that they responded that quickly, but God does work in mysterious ways. I'm relieved, happy and a bit sad too about leaving here because I've been here for 6 1/2 years, but this is a good opportunity and the group looks like a great relaxed group to work with. They're very flexible with the hours and even told me I can work from home as much as I want, as long as the job gets done and they can get a hold of me. It's a very family oriented group as everybody there has at least a child and they try to have fun there while getting the work done. I'm really excited about it. Thanks to everybody who prayed for me.

Pictures from Ocean City, NJ
"Whoa my feet are sinking!"
"Mommy and Daddy said something silly!"
"Run Nathan Run!"
"Look at my belly!"
"Weee! Look at my hair blowing in the wind!"
"I love my Mommy!"
He's actually singing "Ahhhh!"

"I Went Poo Poo!"
I've been reading up on toilet training and I'm really not looking forward to the process and the mess that's going to occur. He's not completely ready, but I'll be waiting for more signs. He's already interested in watching us go to the bathroom and flushes the toilet on us. Whenever he poops, he actually pulls the changing pad from under our coffee table and lays down for me to change his diaper....such a good boy! He also does say "pee pee" and points to his diaper. It's kind of nice having him sleep through the night with his diaper on, so I'm not looking forward to when he has to get up in the middle of the night to pee or the accidents on the mattress. He never complained about a wet diaper, so that could be a problem...we've let his diaper get REALLY full many times and he never cried, even when he was an infant. It really looked like a balloon!

Today's Rant & Rave
1) So far I submitted my resume for 2 positions @ GMAC in Horsham and I haven't even gotten a response yet in the past week or two. One of the HR Recruiters there didn't even sound like he wanted to grant me an interview, even though I was more than qualified! I know people said it takes a bit of time for the higher level positions, but it's frustrating seeing some of our lower level phone agents get interviews so quickly within a day or two. Very frustrating and discouraging. I have to think that it wasn't meant to be and that God has something else in mind for me, but all I see right now is the time ticking away closer to February. Of course, that closure date could all change to an earlier date if mass people start leaving early and staff becomes very minimal. They do have to give us 60 days notice if that were to happen, worse case scenario. Ugh.
2) I was dreading this week as school is back in session, which means congested traffic is back with all the school buses, mothers and kids on the road. My nice 15-20 minute commute to work during the summer has now turned into a full 30-35 minutes. Arrgghh......and I only work 8 miles away!

Mommy!
His vocabulary is growing so fast these days. We really have to be careful what we say or watch on TV because he's a great imitator. The only phrase or multiple words he's saying is "bath time", "all done" "oh no" and "apple juice", but he's constantly talking like he's having a conversation with us. He's so funny when he gets on the phone with me at work...while I'm talking to him, Dan tells me he has this huge smile on his face and is trying to talk to me.
He's also been eating so much these days and more varieties of food.....he's definitely going through a growth spurt. He's been so good at restaurants and sitting in his high chair. We may have to start ordering one of those kid's meals soon because he's eating so much of my own food!
It's amazing how far he's come along since he was born....I can't believe how tiny he used to be and how his only way of communicating was crying. Now he's growing so fast into a little boy and is communicating more and more. The crying and temper tantrums are still there of course, but it's just amazing watching him develop and grow. Sniff sniff!
